Event weather for Saturday, August 29, 2026 ☁️🌞
Overnight from Friday to Saturday, a cold front will bring rain and cooler temperatures, followed by a relatively dry and warm westerly flow over the weekend.
COOL MORNING, SUNNY AFTERNOON
No steady rain and no thunderstorms.
Currently, it looks like the storm will clear out quickly by the start of the Karwendelmarsch; it should already be dry by around 5 a.m. The sky will be partly cloudy and it will still be windy at times, so the early morning temperatures in Scharnitz – around +10 °C – will actually feel quite a bit colder. During the race, the weather will most likely be clear and free of thunderstorms. It should be partly cloudy with occasional sunshine. Around noon, it will be very sunny. The westerly wind will be noticeable in the highest sections of the course but will remain well below stormy conditions. Temperatures at noon at 2,000 m will range from +10 to +12 °C, and in the afternoon in Pertisau from +21 to +23 °C. Cloud cover will tend to increase again in the afternoon, and toward evening, there may be light rain for a short time from the Karwendel down to Lake Achensee. No sustained rain and no thunderstorms.
