Maike Drieb-Schön und Thomas Roach
At the traditional maple tree planting at Kleiner Ahornboden, the two first-placed runners Maike Drieb-Schön and the new course record holder Thomas Roach (03:57:30) planted their very special trophies: their own maple trees in the Karwendel Nature Park! A living symbol of endurance, closeness to nature and their incredible success on 31.08.2024. 
They were accompanied by Toni Heufelder from the Karwendel Nature Park, Daniel White from the Seefeld region and Hildegard Fill from the Achensee region.
